About Lua
Lua is from a small town in Connecticut and moved to Portland in 2023. Lua has always wanted to work with children since she was young, which has grown into her specific love for both the social work and mental health field. Every day, she learns more about how to be a loving, compassionate, and nurturing person in the lives of children and the world, and be the kind of person she needed when she was little.
You might notice the bracelets that she wears (and makes), they are her armor and can be used to find her in a crowd. She also loves taking big road trips, camping, finding any sliver of sunshine, listening to an extensive variety of music and electronic beats, and connecting with those she loves. Finding her place at Rosebud preschool has been a blessing since moving from the East Coast. It has filled her up in many ways to be a part of RoseVilla’s community and she can’t wait to play some more.
