About Skyler
Skyler Pestle (she/they) has been teaching and designing early childhood programs in Portland, OR since 2016. She holds a Bachelor’s in Child Development and a Master’s in Leadership for Sustainability Education from Portland State University. Skyler combines research-based practices with creativity, silliness, and care to build meaningful learning experiences for young children.
Skyler is passionate about creating environments where children feel safe, loved, and excited to explore. She finds that “grown-ups” have a lot to learn from children’s innate wisdom and curiosity about the natural world. Skyler also brings experience in curriculum design and multimedia arts – always centering joy and connection in her work.
