Amanda Duncan

About Amanda

Amanda Duncan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Portland State University. For more than 18 years, Amanda has worked with children of all ages – from toddlers to high school. Her combined experience includes time spent leading outdoor school programs, preschool programs, cooking classes, and art classes.

Stemming from her early career working as an educator with outdoor school programs and later with MESD Outdoor School – an outdoor education program –Amanda brings to Rosebud a deep love of the natural world and a high tolerance for rain (that’s a must in Oregon!). She is passionate about helping children explore their interests and developing self-confidence.

At Rosebud Preschool, Amanda finds joy in the opportunity to create a beautiful space where children can learn about the world and foster meaningful relationships with elders.

In her spare time, Amanda loves to play Dungeons & Dragons and other games with friends, dote on her dog Dennis, listen to pop culture podcasts, and watch reality competition shows with her husband, Brandon.
